Certification Trainings

Classes offered by Hendrickson Method® Institute assist massage therapists, bodyworkers, and health care providers in achieving the highest level of skill and confidence in advanced massage and manual therapy. Institute classes focus on orthopedic assessment, clinical anatomy, and advanced manual skills, as well as the development of the student’s ability to stay relaxed to allow for greater healing energy to flow through their body.

Courses at the Institute have been traditionally offered over a nine-month period to allow for extensive practice of the techniques. As Hendrickson Method is similar to a “moving meditation,” more training and practice generates the personal transformation required to become proficient in this healing art. Classes are carefully organized to efficiently utilize each hour of class time. When students complete their coursework, they emerge as confident, competent, and clinically effective professionals.

Training in Hendrickson Method is offered through continuing education week-end workshops as well as certification classes. The certification classes are divided into three levels – Fundamentals, Essentials and Advanced – based on the number of hours a student has trained. The Fundamentals and Essentials classes are open to new students. The more classes a student takes, the greater his/her mastery of this method. After each course, students are professionally certified at a level reflecting their degree of training.
